Dillon is a Toronto based production designer with over 15 years experience in the film industry. The son of an IATSE stagehand and carpenter, Dillon spent much of his youth on backlots and soundstages in awe of the hardworking crews who make magic behind the scenes.
Dillon made his own entrance into the industry at the age of 14, as the youngest director to ever stage a play at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival. A flair for the theatrical has informed his design language since; he enjoys bold colours, lush textures and loves to focus on the small details.
In 2018, Dillon co-founded Prefix Studio, a full service design and build workshop offering specialized set fabrication services. Having worked every position within the art department Dillon has firsthand knowledge of the design and build process, making him adept at engineering creative solutions within limited time frames and budgets.
